We will be shortly starting our Audio Casting for Day 2 of the Insomnia40 event. This first cast which is scheduled for 5.00pm I can promise will be a cast with a twist, for more than one reason.

In essence, this wasn’t just a match review. As NiceY.css had already won their games in such a fashion that had kept them (Unseeded) at the top of Group J after 2 hefty wins, and against an (as they openly admit) out of sorts PrizePlay, the stage was clearly set.

The groups are now live, a number next to the team indicates a seed which the team occupy, with the table representing (in order) Games Played, W/L/D, Round Difference and Points. Remember top2 qualify for the Prize Tier plus the best 4 third placed teams.

Just a quick update for everyone so you know whats going on. We have a couple more Facebook galleries which cadred will be also using going live sometime in the afternoon. Featuring pictures from the first lot of group games which will be taking place shortly. Meanwhile we can confirm that Groups will be going Live at 11.30, currently a test match is running, once that is finished the CSS leader’s meeting will happen and then obviously going live.

Ok well here we are on Saturday with the groups not yet finalised, and we still are in limbo. We are now beginning day2 and we believe that matches are set to start at 10am. However the delays we encountered with finalising the “official” seeds are now gone; I have been told that the preliminary seeds are NOT going to change.

As Cadred have reported on their site, there has been a delay to today’s games, by a significant amount. However after some serious issues in which the servers were physically damaged and had to be replaced, they have decided to postpone all initial group games till tommorow.
