Tonight, ESL announced that the much proclaimed Amateur Series has reopened it’s doors to all teams to sign up and try their team against some of the UK’s finest currently out there, for a chance to be promoted through the tiered system. They have also announced who has been promoted here there and everywhere!

In our first bit of news for a while from ESL, and more specifically covering EAS, then you should be interested to know that EAS has officially opened it’s doors once again, and may well be worth a look in. In an email sent today this was specifically stated:

Hello all participants of “Counter-Strike: Source 5on5 Amateur Series”!

We apologise that it has taken so long to do so, but we are happy to announce today that the Amateur Series has reopened!

First of all you can find out which teams have been promoted to the 1st Division in this news, http://www.esl.eu/uk/css/news/130681/

Qualification for the upcoming fourth season of the ESL Pro Series and fifth season of the 1st Division is already complete, but teams joining now can qualify for the sixth season of the 1st Division and then the fifth season of the ESL Pro Series.

All the teams above join MINISTRY, Team Dignitas, & Rasta. plus whoever loses in the “relegation tournament” in the EAS-1st Division. It will be once again a fantastic season with lots of carnage and trash talk between teams!
