The KGL have announced a brand new cup that will consist of 16 teams and played over three Sundays starting on Sunday 25th July. Sign ups will close on Thursday 22nd July, so if you are interested in keeping busy over the Summer period, this cup maybe for you.

TheKGL Open Cup will consist of 16 clans entered split into two brackets using the KGL double elimination system.

The cup will last 3 weeks starting Sunday July 25th and finishing on Sunday August 8th. All matches start at 9pm and take place on a Sunday night. Standard rules will be in place. Schedule is below;

Round 1 – Sunday July 25th 9pm – de_inferno
Round 2 – Sunday August 1st 9pm – de_nuke
Final – Sunday August 8th 9pm – de_dust2

To sign up, just post on the comments below with your clan name. If your team is not signed up to the site already by the admins yet then register here and get your members to sign-up to the clan! OR leave your Clan name/Steam Friends ID and at least 5 Steam IDs. (N.B if you choose the latter option then you will not be able to participate in any other events. Other events require full registration via our forums.)

Please read the rules and in particular rule 4.2 which is relevant to cups. During the Open Cup, TheKGL configs MUST be used for the event – you can download them here

Sign-ups end on the 22nd of July and the brackets will be released shortly after. Good luck to all the clans applying!
