Today, Ministry Of Darkness community, had a whole shake up, and a new face to take a step in the right direction. Inactivity, summer, hot weather, lack of lanning, lack of socialising, and various other issues had cropt up in recent weeks along with a real stagnation period.

Ministry Of Darkness is one of the longest running communities, it has been together for over 11 years, and with Mark “S@NDM@N” Woodhouse as founder & leader, well today leadership fully changes to a member who obviously wants more power for himself!

Yes that is correct Mrs. Gumpster has taken the reign!

Well here we are, 11 years on since MOD became true, and it is time for a new and direct change. There has been a little bit of turmoil in recent months, and with MOD lacking some direction recently especially with lack of active teams, only 5Star & MOD eXtreme keeping thoroughly active, there is a need for a change at the top and steer MOD in the right way. This is not a small change, this is a string of changes, starting with the head. Sandz is officially stepping down as leader of MOD, as he simply does not have the time to commit, and doesn’t know the scene that much any more, Sandz will be directing his efforts on continuous updates to the websites of Pro-HL.com & Pro-CSS.com and helping out wherever he sees fit. The second big loss is nrki as General Manager, he will be moving aside so that we can change about what is going on in MOD with some swift action, nrki & his efforts especially from myself have been well documented, and well appreciated. Any time I had an issue with MODx, nrki generally helped out where ever possible. Jack unfortunately has already stepped down as Community Manager, and again, his hard work, time and commitment is much appreciated, he did a lot for MOD & the Community over the last few months, but again time got the better of him.

Who is taking over from Sandz/nrki/Jack?

I will be taking over Ministry Of Darkness full time, I will step down from MODx Manager, and LT will take over my place, with either cooka/KX taking over LT’s role. Jack’s role will be advertised and I will be looking at anybody who would like this position, details of this will come over the next month. No-one needs any kind of introduction to me, Ive been in Pro-HL/MOD since August 2006, I have run MODx since February 2007, and I know the majority of people here inside MOD, and established communications to some of Counter Strike Source’s biggest and brightest communities, including Rasta, Twisted Play, KillerInstincts, Fragmasters and various others. I also run the news website Quickscope which was started in December 2009. I am an iSeries CSS Tournament admin, and I of course ran the Pro-HL eXtreme CSS League.

With this change, the website will also be changing from it’s current version of flash to a more html based website which will look something like this, and various other changes will also be incoming at Ministry Of Darkness, recruitment for teams will eventually be opened and any team who expresses an interest in joining Ministry Of Darkness (who have been together for 3 months or more) should contact Gumpster on steam friends (gumpster304).
