Whilst we are in the middle of our EDCSSL coverage, and we have several big things in the pipeline, however what we would like to hear is your thoughts and opinions on Quickscope, what you would like to see more of, less of, and whether you have any added suggestions for our team.Quickscope began as an idea over the i38 weekend in November, and was officialy launched on December 14th 2009, we are now into March 2010, and the site has progressed further than we anticipated, with a regular number of visiters which averages just over 200 per day, the average reader, spends 2minutes 58 seconds, and we keep going up in our targets month on month (February was 40% up on January) in new visits. Based on statistics, we seem to be doing better than the Quickscope management team expected, however what really matters is your thoughts and opinions about what Quickscope really needs.
In June or July, we are targetting for a site upgrade going from Wordpress to Joolma, which will give us more features to work with to make this site much better for you, so maybe you have some suggestions on what you would like to see on the website, if so please let us know here. We as a website are committed to making news easy for you, and we would like to continually give you quality coverage of events like EDCSSL, i39 and various events that will be coming up on our calendar over the year. We are also looking long term and supporting not just Counter Strike Source, but Team Fortress 2, Call Of Duty 4 & various other lower – middle end scenes in the country.
We should remind everyone that whilst we are all volunteers here at Quickscope, we do all care about your feedback, and the way you think of the site, but as we have explained in the past to various people, things do take time, and will not happen overnight. Any suggestions, ideas, and all your feedback will be considered heavily and we will try our best to implement it within the future of Quickscope!
So what we would like to know, whether you have good OR bad feedback (or maybe both) then post on this news topic so we as a Management team can see what you really think of the work that is going on here, would you like to see more events online covered, maybe you want to see more interviews with various communities & players, or maybe you want more features on the site, whatever you want, you should let us know. If you do not feel comfortable airing your views in public then alternatively you can email “feedback@quickscope.co.uk” and this will send round to all our staff at Quickscope, where we will discuss on our forums.
I would like to say a massive thank you on behalf of everyone here for your continued support, and for anyone who provides us with help and news and stuff like that, we do appreciate it.
